Sandra Dalbec’s unique library display is in one of her favorite planters. It was a gift from her son and rests in a little sandbox with shells and sea life. So pretty and appropriate for Sanibel Island.

This beautiful orchid from Linda and Tom Uhler’s collection is called Brassia Rex Christine. It was in full bloom when Linda delivered it to the library. A stunning plant!

Barbara Wilgus presented a beautiful arrangement this week. The leaf-patterned vase showcases palm leaves/fronds, a bromeliad flower and cut mini hot-pink poinsettias, all from her yard. Perfect!

Maggie Butcher’s colorful vertical design highlights this library floral display. Birds of Paradise are mixed with Muehly Grass and Crotons. Lovely, Maggie!
Gerri Perkins has delivered a lovely floral arrangement to the library the first week of November. She calls it Sanibel Bounty. Everything comes from her island yard. Gorgeous colors and wonderful assembly!

Carol Bytnar’s succulent garden arrangement reminds us of just how lovely cacti and succulents grow in Southwest Florida. Very lovely and serene.
Katherine Branam’s lovely arrangement of Birds of Paradise was done by Floral Artistry. The colors really pop to provide a splendid welcome for library patrons.
Sandra Dalbec has created a pretty arrangement for the library. The plant is a Clerodendron Quadriloculare and is growing in Sandra’s yard. Quite unusual!

It’s cold outside, but Winter will not last long. A little bird on Carol Zell’s floral arrangement foretells the promise of Spring and warmer temperatures. A nice touch of color for the end of January.
