DING DARLING WILDLIFE REFUGE

TOUR THE NEWLY ESTABLISHED “DING” DARLING POLLINATOR GARDENS. BARB WYSKOWSKI WILL BE OUR GUEST SPEAKER AND SHARE HER EXPERTISE ON NATIVE PLANTS AND TIPS FOR CREATING A BUTTERFLY GARDEN. THERE WILL ALSO BE A GUIDED TOUR OF THE WILDLIFE EDUCATION BOARDWALK WHERE YOU MAY SPOT OTTERS, ALLIGATORS AND WADING SHOREBIRDS.

SIGC members pitched in to create paper flowers to decorate a tree for the Sanibel CHR Housing Christmas Tree Fundraiser. How many flowers do we have to make to cover a seven-foot tree?

SIGC DUES ARE NOW BEING COLLECTED FOR THE 2025 - 2026 GARDEN CLUB YEAR. IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID YOUR DUES, PLEASE REMIT $35 TO LINDA UHLER.

September Get-Together. . .Shopping in Downtown Fort Myers and lunch at Izzy’s Seafood.

Great fun in July as SIGC members gathered at Floral Artistry in Estero. Jana and Frans shared tips on floral arranging while we enjoyed tea and cookies. We later met at De Romo’s Italian Market and Restaurant for a delightful and delicious lunch. Our next Summer Girlz outing and lunch is being planned for August 12, 2025. Maggie Butcher will soon be sharing the details.
